Fused Images
This section is in reference to a comment in the QIBA Working Meeting FDG-PET/CT Breakout Session (RSNA 2008) Summary Report, in which there was a comment "information should be gathered about whether IHE has developed an export standard for fused imaging".
The answer is that DICOM has developed spatial registration and blending presentation state objects to allow the fusion of CT and PET images to be specified, and IHE has developed an integration profile to specify their use.
